Army announces Cybersecurity Collaborative Research Alliance to explore underlying cyber science
Cybersecurity Collaborative Research Alliance partners had their first face-to-face meeting on Oct. 15, at Adelphi Laboratory Center, Md. Patrick McDaniel, Cybersecurity CRA program director, Penn State University and Ananthram Swami, the CRA's manager, U.S. Army Research Laboratory, (both seated) are joined by senior researchers from Indiana Unviersity, University of California at Davis, the University of California Riverside, and senior leaders from ARL, including Dr. John Pellegrino, director of the Computational and Information Sciences Directorate. The Army will fund the alliance for five years, with an optional five-year renewal at $3.3 million to $5.2 million annually to explore the basic foundations of cyber science issues in the context of Army networks.
