At Fort Benning, Ga., Pfc. Amanda Cox of B Company, 1st Battalion (Airborne), 507th Parachute Infantry Regiment, screams as Sgt. Nicholas Johnson and Pvt. Jacob Tatum let go of her and she is pulled up the 250 feet tower at Eubanks Field. Before taking the plunge from the tower in their second week of training, all Airborne Soldiers learn how to fall, how to handle twisted lines and how to slip away from other jumpers. After the tower, Soldiers jump five times from a plane at 1,250 feet. Soldiers graduate after three weeks of training.
