FORT BENNING, Ga., (Sept. 11, 2103) -- After a hectic workweek, getting away may not always be an option. But luckily for those in the area, the Columbus Botanical Garden offers a chance to get away without traveling too far. Whether a garden expert or amateur, the garden offers a number of events throughout the year to delight those interested in getting their hands dirty, including workshops and volunteer opportunities. Or simply take a walk through the garden and discover various species of insects and birds living within it.

As fall approaches, watch the leaves change color and take advantage of the cooler weather. Open year-round, the Columbus Botanical Garden is like experiencing a whole new ecosystem each season.

The Columbus Botanical Garden is open daily from dusk until dawn. For more information visit the websites at www.columbusbotanicalgarden.com.
