OFRT SILL, Okla. -- Religious support volunteers are needed for Vacation Bible School (VBS) running July 29 - Aug. 2.

Adults and teens who want help by keeping children safe and on track as they rotate through various activities throughout the week are encouraged to volunteer.

Application packets for new volunteers are online at the Fort Sill Religious Support Office web page or can be picked up at the Frontier Chapel main entrance, 4121 Thomas Street. Returning volunteers must renew their background checks annually. The FS-320 can be downloaded at fortsillre@gmail.com.

Under the theme "Gotta Move," children will learn the important of putting faith into action. They will be taught important Christian character traits (obedience, commitment, responding, repenting and trusting) and attitudes (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control).

Each day kids will rotate between four stations doing crafts, games, Bible lessons and enjoy tasty snacks. They will also have a fun cooking show called "Extreme Quisine," and a local championship jump-roping team.

VBS runs weekdays from 8:30-11:30 a.m.. For more information visit the Fort Sill website and click "Religious Support" or contact Frontier Chapel at 580-442-2701.
