Describe your job. I supervise employees who examine and adjudicate claims for and against the government. I supervise the work product and processes of the personnel in Legal Assistance. I exercise full first level supervision over civilian and legal assistance personnel and provide technical guidance and advice to military claims and legal assistance support personnel. I process all types of claims to include household shipments, Affirmatives and Torts. I also monitor day to day activities within Legal Assistance and prepare formal performance evaluations.

Activities/Hobbies: I enjoy planning events for family members, watching sports on television and decorating family member's houses.

What is your most memorable experience during your time here at JFHQ-NCR/MDW? My most memorable experience here was scheduling an appointment for a young Soldier who had just bought an overpriced car from a dealer. We were able to work together with the attorney and get him out of the contract.

Would you recommend working here to other federal employees? I would definitely recommend working here. MDW gives you a chance to meet people of all ranks and grades in a variety of different situations and most of them you can help. You can also learn legal information that is helpful to you.
