REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. -- Lt. Gen. Richard P. Formica, U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command, head of the table, addresses all personnel of the command via videteleconference about the importance of Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention program training beginning a full day of training, videos and discussion June 18. Employees watched several videos about the scope of the sexual harassment and assault problem in the Army, learned in-depth details about the SHARP program, and participated in small group discussions in the afternoon that reinforced the importance of training and provided an open discussion of first hand experiences. Sexual harassment and assault prevention has become a priority for the Army after a number of recent allegations.
