30th AG change of command set for June 5

Fort Benning, Ga., (May 22, 2013) -- Lt. Col. Stuart A. Kidder, commander, 30th Adjutant General Battalion, 192nd Infantry Brigade is scheduled to relinquish command at 9 a.m. June 5 during a change of command ceremony at Pomeroy Field.

Assuming command is Lt. Col. David C. Welch.

Kidder enlisted in the Army in 1986 and was assigned as a combat medic with 3rd Battalion, 70th Armor, 5th Infantry Division, at Fort Polk, La.

He graduated as a distinguished military graduate from Northwestern State University of Louisiana and was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Adjutant General Corps in 1991.

Kidder holds a master's degree in military operational art and science, a master's degree in organizational management, and a baccalaureate's degree in business administration.

Kidder assumed command of the 30th Adjutant General Battalion, 192nd Infantry Brigade on June 6, 2011.
