ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, MD -- The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command's Logistics Readiness Center, along with Program Executive Office Command, Control, Communications-Tactical, PEO C3T, and Program Manager Warfighter Information Network-Tactical, WIN-T, kicked off the first of several sustainment review sessions in preparation for select systems scheduled to transition to sustainment during fiscal years 17 and 18.

Chaired by, Jerry Harper, Resource Management Division chief of PM WIN-T and Sal Panduri, chief of the LRC Integrated Logistics Support WIN_T division, the reviews were productive and generated much feedback among participants, according to Panduri. The objective of the sessions is to review each program scheduled to transition to sustainment and anticipate all potential future issues to ensure a seamless conversion.

Sustained by the Army Standard Supply System, CECOM's LRC reviewed the Phoenix, SMART-T, and GBS during a variety of sessions to identify items in need of integration. Team members mapped out a path forward for the future of the systems. The Supportability Integrated Product team was tasked with working the resolutions derived from the sessions. "…the goal is to bring all concerns to resolution now so that by the time we get to FY17 and FY18, we are 100% [percent] ready, and transitioning (will) be as simple as a hand shake between the C3T director and WIN-T project manager," said Panduri.
