Cavalry chaplain helps Soldiers, couples deal with issues after deployment

In two recent stories in the News Tribune and Seattle Times, reporter Adam Ashton talks with Chaplain (Captain) Rick Pak as he helps his Stryker Soldiers and their Families cope with the stresses of life at home following a deployment. Pak, Chaplain of the 1st Squadron, 14th Cavalry Regiment at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, conducts marriage training events to help Soldiers and their Families build stronger relationships, and provides counseling and referral to Soldiers dealing with issues such as marital conflict, grief, depression and PTSD.
