REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. - The inspector geneneral of the U.S. Army spent half a day with U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command employees April 9.

Peter M. Vangjel, the 64th inspector general of the U.S. Army, visited as part of a more comprehensive visit to Redstone Arsenal.

During his visit, he received a command brief, a tour of the Concepts Analysis Laboratory, a tour of the Joint Air Defense Operations Center-Development Test Lab, and provided his own overview to SMDC military and civilian leaders of issues facing the U.S. Army and how leaders impact those issues.
