REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. -- The Aviation and Missile Research, Development and Engineering Center's Engineering Directorate has received an Alabama Performance Excellence Award.
The award is administered by the AlaQuest Center for Performance Excellence, which assists organizations to achieve excellence and efficiency through training and education, workforce development and best practice sharing.

"Because of the comprehensive nature of the Alabama Performance Excellence Award's criteria and emphasis on results, ED's recognition for this award means our customers can be assured of receiving best value products and services when they partner with us."
The Level 1 Commitment to Excellence Award is granted to organizations that have made a serious commitment to use and implement performance excellence concepts and principles and have already begun to deploy systematic management and improvement processes.
