Alcohol Awareness Month April 1-30 2013
Alcohol Awareness Month is an opportunity to raise awareness of alcohol abuse and encourage people to make healthy and safe choices. 3 in 10 adults drink at levels that put them at risk for alcoholism, liver disease, and other problems; you may know someone that is in need of help.
Strategies to Cut Back or Quit Drinking
1. Keep track of your drinking and set limits
2. Avoid triggers and places where heavy drinking occurs
3. Ask for Help
4. Keep a limited supply of alcohol in your home
5. Plan to handle urges
