READY NOW!
SHAPING TOMORROW…

The U.S. Army Reserve commemorates its 116th birthday April 23 by recognizing the dedicated service of our Army Reserve Soldiers and Civilians. This year’s theme is “Today's Army Reserve: Building critical skills for the Nation.” The Army Reserve offers over 120 different career fields and draws talent right from the community. Soldiers can answer their calling while building on their civilian profession or try a new career that fulfills a separate purpose.
"Change Through Unity: Empower. Protect. Prevent." This is the unified message from Lt. Gen. Jody Daniels, Chief of Army Reserve and Commanding General, Maj. Gen. Gene J. LeBeouf, Deputy Commanding General for Army Reserve, and Command Sgt. Major Andrew Lombardo, Command Sergeant Major for the Army Reserve. April is Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (SAAPM), and senior leaders are dedicated to highlighting the power of acts that can bolster prevention, increase reporting, and promote advocacy for a safer U.S. Army Reserve. "We are committed now, and always, to ensuring that our Army Reserve Soldiers are able to serve their country in an environment that is fully aligned with all Army values."
The Month of the Military Child recognizes and honors the role military children play in the armed forces community. The theme for this year’s observance is “Military Children and Youth: Brave, Fearless and Resilient.”
Today’s Army Reserve covers more than 20 time zones, across 5 continents. Our people bring their purpose and passion to employers in communities across the entire globe. Now, more than ever, America needs a powerful and resilient force, ready to deliver vital capabilities In an ever-changing landscape of both visible and invisible threats, we stand ready, to defeat our enemies, any time, anywhere. America’s Army Reserve is ready now, shaping tomorrow.
