This guide is to inform the Area I community of all relevant hazards and to provide preparedness information to the Soldiers, their Families, Civilians and contractors in our area.

At the Directorate of Public Works compound on Camp Casey Oct. 16, workers build a trap that will be set for the wild boar that have been turning up in growing numbers on U.S. Army installations in Area I, especially within the past month or so. The U.S. Army Garrison Red Cloud and Area I plans to set a total of three such traps, on Camp Casey and Camp Hovey, both in Dongducheon. Besides the traps, the garrison is working out a formal arrangement with Korean authorities for safe removal of the boars from Area I installations
