Installation Management Command internal review employees were recognized for outstanding performance April 21 at the IMCOM Symposium in San Antonio, Texas.

The Hon. Katherine Hammack, assistant secretary of the Army for installation, energy and environment; Sgt. Maj. of the Army Raymond F. Chandler III; Lt. Gen. Rick Lynch, commanding general of IMCOM; and IMCOM Command Sgt. Maj. Neil Ciotola issued the awards to the winners.

David Davies, Ph.D., from Ft. Humphreys, Korea, won the individual award. His advice guided the command to avoid an anti-deficiency act violation and his attention to detail helped him identify over $66,000 in monetary benefits to Ft. Humphreys in 2010.

The team award went to the Ft. Polk internal review office, represented by Susan Williams, chief of internal review. Williams and her team identified over $43 million in benefits in unearned reimbursements and cost savings for Ft. Polk in 2010.

"We designed this week to recognize people, which candidly is the most important thing," Lynch said. "Thank you for all you do to support Soldiers, Families and Civilians."
